Cimetidine
Tagamet, Tagamet Hb (cimetidine) is a small molecule pharmaceutical. Cimetidine was first approved as Tagamet on 1982-01-01. It is used to treat duodenal ulcer, dyspepsia, gastroesophageal reflux, heartburn, and helicobacter infections amongst others in the USA. The pharmaceutical is active against histamine H2 receptor. In addition, it is known to target multidrug and toxin extrusion protein 2, multidrug and toxin extrusion protein 1, and equilibrative nucleoside transporter 4.
